ISH-ECS 2026 – Abstract Submission
Abstract Submission Criteria:
- Deadline: 20 May 2026
- Language: English, clear and concise
- Originality: Must be original, unpublished work
- Scientific Merit: Sound methodology, clear objectives, valid conclusions
- Relevance:Must align with conference topics or themes
- Ethical Standards: Follow ethical guidelines; patient data anonymized
- Submission Process: Via online portal; max file size 15 MB
- Structure: Title, Background, Objective(s), Methods, Results, Conclusion
- Formatting: 250–350 words, Word format, title ≤10 words, no author names
- Best Practices: Follow template, highlight novelty, check clarity and grammar
- Registration: At least one author must be registered; max 3 abstracts per presenter
- Presentation: Oral or poster requested; final format by Scientific Committee
- Acceptance Notification: End of June 2026
Abstract Deadline
Best Abstract Grants
A number of Best Abstract Grants will be offered to international participants whose abstracts have been selected for either oral or poster presentations and which have been given higher scores.
Grant Covers:
1-Free registration.
2-Hotel accommodation in Dubai in a single room for a maximum of 3 nights*.
3-Round-trip transfer from the hotel to the venue
*Those receiving Grants must stay at the hotel allocated to them by the meeting organisers. No refunds will be given in the case of self-booked rooms in other hotels.
Grant Eligibility and Criteria:
1-f the same group of authors submit more than one abstract, the Presenter Grant will be assigned only once.
2-Grants can be requested by presenting authors younger than 35 years old or from certain low-income and lower-middle-income countries. Find the list of Countries
3-A photocopy of an identity document (Allowed file types: pdf, jpeg up to 2MB) must be uploaded when the applicants submit abstracts.
This award was established in 2012 to encourage New Investigators and recognise excellence in scientific contribution.
Award Eligibility and Criteria:
- It will be awarded at the ISH-ECS 2026 Dubai meeting to a New Investigator judged to have given the best oral presentation among finalists.
- Finalists will be selected from eligible presenters on the basis of the scores of their abstracts submitted for the ISH-ECS 2026 Dubai meeting.
- The applicant shall give an oral presentation at the ISH-ECS 2026 Dubai meeting and must be a New Investigator who is undertaking a research higher degree or within 10 years of graduation with a doctoral or equivalent qualification.
- Applicants must upload an official letter from their supervisor certifying their status. This must be submitted along with the applicant’s abstract.

- Applicants must hold a PhD or MD (including residents in training).
- Your terminal degree must have been obtained within the last 10 years.
- Eligible: Assistant Professors and those leading their own independent research teams/labs/groups are eligible, provided they are within the 10-year post-graduation window.
- Ineligible: Associate Professors and Professors.
You must be a member of the International Society of Hypertension (ISH).

2-Submission Requirements
Applicants must submit the following materials:
- You must be the presenting author of an abstract submitted to the ISH-ECS 2026 Dubai meeting.
- Summary Statement (1,000 words maximum) including:
- Career to date: Your professional journey and milestones.
- Research Impact: The significance of your work within the hypertension field.
- Field Contributions: Your involvement in local, regional, or global hypertension activities.
- A signed letter from your supervisor (maximum 1/2 page) confirming that you meet all eligibility requirements.
